There is a risk of further expansion of the war in Ukraine, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in an interview with The Peninsula Qatar, according to Ednews.
He called on all parties to create conditions for a ceasefire and peace: "International solidarity should be strengthened. All efforts must be united to achieve peace. Practical measures should be taken to reduce tension."
The minister said that there is no magic tool for solving the crisis: "We have to start with ourselves."
China's foreign minister once again expressed Beijing's support for convening an international conference to resolve the Ukraine crisis: "At this conference, Moscow and Kyiv can discuss possible ways to resolve the war on equal terms."
