"Azerbaijan made great contributions to international issues."
This statement was said by a prominent Pakistani Youth Leader and President of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Alumni Association (PAAA), as well as President of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD), Qaiser Nawab in his exclusive interview with Ednews.
"In my opinion, Azerbaijan played an important role in promoting the movement against Islamophobia and by initiating a number of activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, it gave the country more recognition in the international forum. I think that the leadership of Azerbaijan makes great contributions to international issues such as promoting Islamophobia and culture. I believe that the vision of Azerbaijan is important in the modern world, where the world is facing many problems related to sustainable development goals. We must eliminate the problems created by mankind, such as Islamophobia and racism.
Our interlocutor, who also evaluates the current world system, believes that the current international system has already collapsed and the importance of a new platform is evident.
"The world can no longer be a multipolar world. Because we are more interdependent and the world is now interconnected. We need to be more connected to each other, recognize and respect the beliefs of others, and eliminate discrimination. We should be on a single platform rather than being divided into a multi-polar world. Multilateral organizations like the United Nations must respect international laws and regulations, and countries like Azerbaijan must play their role in their region. The processes taking place in Karabakh, Ukraine and Gaza show that the current system has collapsed. No party can take advantage of this anymore."
