Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov (pictured) said on Friday that recent remarks by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron stating that Ukraine has the "right" to strike Russia using UK-delivered weapons are "dangerous" and represent a "verbal escalation" on the parts involved in the Ukrainian conflict.
"These are direct escalation of tension around the Ukrainian conflict, which could potentially pose a danger to European security, the entire architecture of European security," Peskov noted, Ednews informs.
During his Thursday meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev, Cameron noted that "Ukraine has that right. Just as Russia is striking inside Ukraine, you can quite understand why Ukraine feels the need to make sure it's defending itself."
